Safe at Home!

A young boy brags to his friends that he knows baseball Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris, claiming his father, Ken Lawton, is friends with them. When Hutch Lawton (Bryan Russell) stows away on a fish truck to get to the Yankees' training camp in Fort Lauderdale, he meets Coach Bill Turner (William Frawley), who helps him confront the consequences of his lie. With Turner's guidance, Hutch learns a valuable lesson about honesty and eventually finds friendship with Mantle and Maris, who invite the whole team to work out with them.
