The Nightingale and the Rose

A nightingale bird named Nightingale (Mia Wasikowska) discovers a true lover when she witnesses a young university student (Benedict Samuel) talk about his beloved, and embarks on a quest to find the red rose he needs to win her heart. The journey comes with a chilling price. Directed by the film's female voice, this short animated drama is based on Oscar Wilde's classic fairytale.
