Victor Crowley

Ten years after a massacre in Louisiana's Honey Island Swamp, Andrew Yong is convinced to return to the scene by his publicist and offered a substantial sum for an interview on a true crime TV series, which takes place on a private charter plane heading to the swamp. The flight is disrupted when one of the engines explodes during flight, killing two crew members and stranding survivors in the swamp, where they are stalked by the vengeful ghost of Victor Crowley, resurrected through a mysterious curse.
