In a post-apocalyptic world where an aggressive alien force has taken over Planet Earth, humanity clings to existence in underground bunkers, monitored by soldiers like S.U.M.1, a young and curious military rookie played by Iwan Rheon. Sent on a mission outside the heavily fortified compound Exilium to secure a remote bunker, S.U.M.1 soon finds himself entangled in a web of conspiracy and surveillance, as he begins to question the true nature of his assignment and the sinister forces that control his world.
