Laiskai Sofijai

"Laiskai Sofijai" is a 2013 Lithuanian biographical drama that tells the story of Mikalojus Konstantinas Ciurlionis and his tumultuous relationship with wife Sofija Kymantaitė, a journalist and political activist. Rokas Zubovas plays the lead role of Ciurlionis, bringing to life the life and work of this Lithuanian genius and composer. Despite his lowly origins, Ciurlionis produced an astonishing body of work, including over 300 paintings and 300 musical compositions, which were all created while struggling with a mysterious mental illness.
