Whitney Wolfe Herd, a young woman from Salt Lake City who had just graduated from Southern Methodist University, is energetic, ambitious, and highly driven. She tries to connect with tech practitioners and entrepreneurs but faces dismissal and overlooking. Whitney is eventually hired as the marketing director of Sean Rad's company Hatch Labs, where she meets potential investors for Cardify, an application that fails to impress. As Tinder gains popularity, Whitney's role becomes more crucial, leading her to confront issues such as inappropriate behavior by male users and sexism within the company.
