Grand Theft Parsons

Grand Theft Parsons is a comedy-drama film that follows Phil Kaufman (Johnny Knoxville) as he fulfills his promise to Gram Parsons' (Gabriel Macht), the country rock musician who died of an overdose in 1973. After Parsons' death, Kaufman bribes mortuary personnel and rents a psychedelic hearse from Larry Oster-Berg, embarking on a journey across the southern California desert, pursued by Parsons' ex-girlfriend with his girlfriend Susie (Marley Shelton) and Parsons' stepfather Stanley Parsons (Robert Forster).
