The Battleship Island

During Imperial Japan's occupation of Korea during World War II, over 400 Koreans are forced to endure harsh labor on Hashima Island and attempt a daring escape. Hwang Jung-min stars as Lee Kang-ok, a bandmaster who must protect his daughter in the face of brutal conditions, alongside So Ji-sub as Choi Chil-sung, a street fighter with a good heart beneath his tough exterior, and Song Joong-ki as Park Moo-young, a member of the Korean independence movement.
