Le Schpountz

Meet Irénée Fabre, a lovable but pompous grocer's assistant from Marseille who becomes the unwitting star of his own comedy show. After being pranked by a film crew into thinking he has a Hollywood contract, he heads to Paris to pursue his dreams and finds himself in a series of hilarious misadventures on set. Despite initial intentions to play up his comedic chops for laughs, Irénée's natural charm wins over the hearts of the studio team, landing him a real role and eventually leading him down the aisle with love - only to have his uncle prove right and bring an end to his starry-eyed ambitions.
