Powder Room

The 2013 comedy film Powder Room follows Sam as her life is turned upside down on a big night out. Reunited with old college friends, Sam constructs an elaborate façade to convince herself and friends she has it all, but her dysfunctional trio intervenes, crumbing her carefully crafted charade amidst shots, cigarettes, ciders, and toilet transgressions. Faced with harsh realities, Sam must struggle to remain true to herself and reassess what she wants from life. The film's story unfolds in a series of vignettes set in the powder room of a nightclub, featuring Sheridan Smith as Sam, alongside Jaime Winstone, Kate Nash, Oona Chaplin, and Riann Steele.
