A haunting nightmare becomes reality for Chris, an archaeologist haunted by visions of his family's brutal murder as a child. The tragedy occurred in the ruins of a Yugoslavian monastery, where Chris's father was searching for the tomb of Prince Elok, a demon-worshipping boy who had been institutionalized after being convicted of murdering his own family. As Chris returns to the site with his girlfriend and friends, he begins to experience terrifying delusions and uncovers dark secrets about his past, leading him down a path of madness and terror.
