Beyond the Stars

Beyond the Stars is a 1989 American science-fiction drama film that explores the unlikely friendship between Eric Michaels (Christian Slater), the son of a computer scientist who worked on the Apollo mission, and Paul Andrews (Martin Sheen), the first man to walk on the moon. As Eric learns more about his idol, he uncovers a secret Paul has kept hidden since his time on the moon.
