Everybody Wants to Be Italian

Jake Bianski (Jay Jablonski), owner of a fish market in North Boston, has carried a torch for his ex-girlfriend Isabella for years, even though she's now married and has three children. He maintains the illusion that they're still together to keep people from finding out about her true situation. When Steve Bottino sets him up with veterinarian Marisa Costa, Jake tells her he's single, but after their initial date, he confides in her that he's not interested in her romantically, suggesting they just be friends instead. As the story unfolds, Isabella leaves her husband and moves into Jake's apartment, forcing him to confront reality about his relationship status.
