Who's Singin' Over There?

A 1980 Yugoslav film tells a dark comedy about a group of passengers traveling by bus to Belgrade on April 5, 1941, just before the Axis invasion of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. The colourful group includes two Romani musicians, a World War I veteran, a Germanophilic geologist, a budding singer, a sickly looking man, and a hunter with a shotgun. As they face numerous difficulties along the way, their stories and characters get twisted together in a series of events that make you laugh in disbelief, set against the backdrop of a tragic era in Yugoslavia's history.
