Mohawk

In 1814, Okwaho ("Oak"), a young Mohawk woman, and her two lovers engage in a brutal fight for survival against a squad of American soldiers hell-bent on revenge after she kills 22 sleeping American soldiers. Kaniehtiio Horn stars as Okwaho, with Ezra Buzzington playing the role of Hezekiah Holt, a power-hungry and brutal subordinate who leads the Americans in their quest for vengeance. The film follows Oak's transformation from victim to avenger, as she uses her intelligence and resourcefulness to outwit her pursuers and ultimately exact revenge on those who seek to destroy her people.
