London to Brighton

A gritty British neo-noir, "London to Brighton" (2006) tells the dark tale of two young girls, Kelly and Joanne, who find themselves on the run from a violent world. A reluctant prostitute, Kelly procures an eleven-year-old runaway, Joanne, into sex with a dodgy mobster, but when things go horribly wrong, they must flee London for their lives. With a taut storyline and grimy atmosphere, this film follows the duo's perilous flight to Brighton, where they face a ruthless pimp and a vengeful son seeking answers.
