Twelve-year-old Olivia is blamed for the death of her friend after singing a song that summons a demonic figure known as "The Crooked Man." Returning to her hometown six years later, Olivia discovers that she's still being haunted by the creature, which is linked to a reclusive mastermind named Milo.
