Maria Montessori

In 1900s Rome, courtesan Lili d'Alengy flees Paris to protect her disabled daughter Tina, who is institutionalized in a "Pedagogical Institute" run by young doctor Maria Montessori. There, Tina begins to flourish under Montessori's revolutionary teaching method, which prioritizes attention, patience, and love. As Lili becomes entangled with Maria, she finds herself drawn into a world of female empowerment and self-discovery that challenges the patriarchal norms of her time.
