The King

A troubled man, recently discharged from the Navy, travels to Corpus Christi, Texas, in search of his father he's never met. The film stars Gael García Bernal as Elvis Valderez, a complex and dark character who sets out to connect with his past and those who have wronged him. He introduces himself to Pastor David Sandow, his long-lost father, only to discover that he has a family now, including a teenage daughter he becomes obsessed with, leading to a series of tragic events that blur the lines between morality and redemption.
