Ballad of a Small Player

In the glittering casinos of Macau, a gambler running from his past—and his debts—becomes fascinated by an enigmatic woman at the baccarat table. Amidst the luxury and excess of this Asian metropolis, he finds himself on a quest for meaning and connection, but also succumbs to the allure of chance and fate. With its sensorial experience elevated by all the artists involved, "Ballad of a Small Player" is a story about a man struggling to find himself amidst a culture marked by out-of-control capitalism and greed.
