Comandante

Comandante tells the true story of Salvatore Todaro (Pierfrancesco Favino), a charismatic and daring commander in the Royal Italian Navy who disobeyed orders to rescue 26 stranded Belgians from a sinking ship during World War II. Against all odds, he navigates his submarine, Cappellini, on the surface for three days, exposing himself to enemy forces and risking everything to deliver the survivors to safety.
