In "Good Fortune," a hapless yet well-meaning angel named Gabriel takes on a mission to show a struggling gig worker named Arj that money can't solve all his problems by swapping their lives with Arj's wealthy employer Jeff. The result is a series of life-altering mishaps and a scathing critique of late-stage capitalism, leaving audiences feeling bleakly aware of the world's ills rather than uplifted or enlightened. With its visually stunning production values and strong cast, this film delivers a jarring and thought-provoking comedy that challenges viewers to confront the harsh realities of class divide and personal identity.
