Rear Window

A wheelchair-bound photographer, James Stewart as L.B. "Jeff" Jefferies, spies on his neighbors from his apartment window and becomes convinced one of them, Raymond Burr's Lars Thorwald, may have committed murder. As he watches the courtyard out his real window, he speculates about the lives of the neighbors that he sees. With the help of his girlfriend, Lisa Fremont (Grace Kelly), a nurse, Stella (Thelma Ritter), and even himself, Jeff attempts to uncover the truth behind Thorwald's suspicious behavior.
