The Parade

The Parade is a 2011 Serbian comedy-drama film that tells the story of two couples caught in the ongoing battle between traditional and liberal values in contemporary post-war Serbian society. Among them are Mirko Dedijer (Goran Jevtić), a theater director planning lavish weddings, and his partner Radmilo (Miloš Samolov), a veterinarian who is content with keeping a low profile. The paths of the two couples cross, leading to a confrontation between Limun (Nikola Kojo), a macho Serbian veteran, and Mirko's boyfriend Radmilo, as well as Biserka (Hristina Popović), Limun's girlfriend, in a dramatic turn that sparks Mirko to leave Serbia for Canada.
