Left-Handed Girl

A single mother, Shu-Fen (Janel Tsai), moves with her two daughters—innocent 5-year-old I-Jing and surly, university-aged I-Ann—to Taipei to start a noodle stand at a night market, while I-Ann works at a betel nut stand as a betel nut beauty. When Shu-Fen discovers her estranged husband is terminally ill, she puts herself into debt to pay for his medical bills and funeral. As the family's financial struggles deepen, Shu-Fen must confront her past and the secrets that threaten their new life in Taipei.
