G.I. Jesus

"G.I. Jesús" follows Jesus, a Mexican national who joins the US Marine Corps to receive citizenship, returning home on furlough from Iraq after experiencing trauma during his service. Joe Arquette plays Jesus as he struggles to reconcile his past with his family life, including his wife Claudia (Patrícia Mota) and daughter Marina. As Jesús grapples with the consequences of his experiences, visions of a man named Mohammed appear to him, further blurring the lines between reality and fantasy.
