The Mastermind

In 1970s Massachusetts, unemployed carpenter James Blaine "JB" Mooney (Josh O'Connor) plots to steal four Arthur Dove paintings from a local art museum, setting out on his first heist with a borrowed plan and recruited accomplices. However, the getaway goes awry as JB's family becomes entangled in an FBI investigation and he finds himself on the run, struggling to reconcile his individual desires with the collective actions needed during a time of war.
