Lambada

Lambada is a 1990 American drama film starring J. Eddie Peck as Kevin "Blade" Laird/Carlos Gutierrez, who leads a double life as a Beverly Hills schoolteacher by day and an underground dance instructor by night, using his lambada dance moves to earn the respect of local barrio kids. As Kevin's carefully constructed world begins to unravel when one of his students, Sandy Thomas (Melora Hardin), exposes his secret, the film combines dramatic narrative with vibrant dance sequences centered around the provocative and trendy lambada dance style.
