In 1936, Palestine is on the brink of chaos as Jewish immigrants arrive in search of a homeland amidst antisemitism in Europe and British colonial rule's relentless grip on the region. Yusuf (Karim Daoud Anaya) drifts between his rural home and Jerusalem's restless energy, drawn into the conflict that will decide the future of the entire region. Against the backdrop of the Arab revolt against British colonial rule, Yusuf finds himself part of a story that is both personal and pivotal for the region.
