In this 2010 horror film, a group of friends embark on a road trip to Chicago, only to find themselves stranded in an abandoned warehouse where they're hunted by bloodthirsty creatures that possess supernatural abilities. After being separated and terrorized, one of the survivors, Amber, discovers she's been chosen as a "late bloomer" among the creatures, and must confront her new nature and decide whether to join them or escape. With tension building and body count rising, this film is a refreshing, brutal, and enjoyable piece of work that shakes up the vampire subgenre.
