In the 1984 American science fiction thriller film Impulse, a small earthquake in a quiet town triggers bizarre and violent behavior in its residents, including Tim Matheson's Stuart and Meg Tilly's Jennifer Russell as they become embroiled in a desperate struggle for survival. As the townspeople descend into chaos, Jennifer narrowly escapes with her life after being terrorized by her brother Eddie, who harbors incestuous feelings for her.
