The film's commercial success was puzzling, and so, two more filmmakers ventured into the woods to uncover the truth behind their predecessors' disappearance. Their own journey was marked by a series of short films, satirizing the found footage genre and parodying the 1999 blockbuster. Pauly Shore stars as the Host in this send-up of The Blair Witch Project.
