J W Coop

J.W. Coop is a 1971 American Western film that follows ex-convict cowboy J.W. Coop (Cliff Robertson) as he returns to life on the rodeo circuit after eight years in prison. Determined to make up for lost time, Coop competes against a changing business and society, with the help of hippie girl Bean (Cristina Ferrare). As his winnings grow, so do Coop's hopes for settling down, but Bean remains independent and free-spirited. The film ends with Coop riding a vicious bull, still injured from a previous fall, as he refuses to dismount, symbolizing his unwavering dedication to the rodeo.
