The Ketchup Effect

A 2004 Swedish teen drama film directed by Teresa Fabik, "The Ketchup Effect" tells the story of Sofie, a teenager whose reputation is destroyed when she falls asleep drunk at a party and compromising photos of her are taken. The film explores the consequences of the incident on Sofie's life, including her friendship with Amanda and Emma, who later turn against her as they try to fit in with the school's popular crowd. In the end, Sofie returns home, where she is met with indifference from her parents and finds a new connection with Sebbe, an awkward but kind boy who stands by her side.
