Rats!

In the surreal small-town version of 2007 Texas, a young graffiti artist named Raphael gets caught up in a chaotic world of drug kingpins, ecoterrorists, mallrats, and rappers after being arrested by an overzealous police officer for his art. Raphael's cousin Mateo is suspected of possessing nuclear weapons, and Raphael becomes entangled in a mission to spy on him. Along the way, he meets Bernadette, a cute goth girl who helps him with shoplifting, and together they navigate a series of bizarre characters and events that lead to a massive house party, a shootout between rival gangs, and a dramatic confrontation with an unhinged cop.
