In late 1970s New Zealand, teenager Angus dreams of becoming a musician with his band "The Daleks". Drawing inspiration from his own experiences growing up in Christchurch during this era of great change and cultural upheaval, writer and director Jonathan Ogilvie crafts a comically dark coming-of-age tale that thrives on the excitement and rebellion of post-punk.
