Gold

A group of Spanish conquistadors embark on a perilous journey through the American jungle in search of the legendary city of gold, Tezutlan, as recorded by a previous expedition. Led by ruthless and power-hungry Ensign Juan de Gorriamendi, the forty men and women face treacherous terrain, grudges with each other, and indigenous tribes that threaten their survival. As tensions rise and allegiances are tested, the group's leader is overthrown, and a brutal struggle for control ensues, leading to a series of bloody battles and a shocking discovery: the fabled city is nothing more than a humble village with gold-colored roofs.
