A Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter is killed in a mass murder in Barcelona, prompting Dan Kovaks, his brother and a maverick journalist, to launch an investigation that puts him and his producer Alejandra Velor on the run from killers and government agents involved in a military conflict brewing in North Korea. As they try to stay alive, Dan and Alejandra must navigate who's working for whom and who can be trusted.
