The Dreadful

Set in 15th century medieval England during the Wars of the Roses, "The Dreadful" follows Anne (Sophie Turner) and her domineering mother-in-law Morwen (Marcia Gay Harden) as they struggle to survive on the outskirts of society. When a man from Anne's past returns from war, claiming that her husband was killed by thieves, a curse begins to take shape through a mysterious knight, threatening to destroy them all. As tensions rise, Anne finds herself torn between her devotion to Morwen and her growing connection with Jago (Kit Harington), who comforts her and urges her to leave Morwen's grasp.
