In a small Australian town, a young trans woman named Sophie discovers that ancient parasites are taking over the local men, turning them into violent and radicalized creatures. As she navigates her own struggles as a queer person, including a difficult date and encounters with transphobic individuals, Sophie forms a vigilante group with her friends to take down the infected and uncover the truth behind their transformation. With a nod to a 1990s film that warned of similar horrors, Sophie must confront the darkness within herself and those around her in order to survive and fight back against the parasite's sinister plans.
