Jazz Boat

Jazz Boat is a 1960 British black-and-white musical comedy film about an electrician named Bert Harris (Anthony Newley), who boasts about being a cat burglar to impress his comrades. His lie gets him mixed up with real thieves planning a big jewelry heist, and Bert discovers it's too late to back out. The film features Ted Heath and his orchestra and a cast including Lionel Jeffries as Detective Sergeant Thompson and James Booth as Spider Kelly, who plays the father of one of the gang members.
