Because of You

Because of You is a 1952 American romantic drama film starring Loretta Young and Jeff Chandler as Christine Carroll Kimberly and Steve Kimberly, a wounded combat pilot who falls in love with her after she becomes his nurse's aide at a hospital. Christine's past as an unwitting accessory to her gangster fiancé Mike Monroe comes back to haunt her when he appears again, forcing her to choose between revealing the truth or risking losing Steve's trust.
