A mockumentary that shines a spotlight on the fickleness and traumas of the music business, "The Moment" follows rising pop sensation Charli XCX as she navigates fame and industry pressures while preparing for her arena tour debut. With one successful album already under her belt, Charli must confront the commercial expectations of her label and the cultural relevance of her brand. The film is a biting satirical exploration of the price of fame, with a complex and playful tone that is both introspective and provocative.
