After giving birth in a Zurich hospital, Diane (Dorothée de Koon) escapes to a Spanish city by her newborn son's father, Martin (Roland Bonjour), and tries to start anew. However, her body reawakens memories of what she was fleeing from, forcing her to confront her past. Characterized by its powerful visuals, the film follows Diane's journey as she struggles to come to terms with her new reality.
