We Are the Lambeth Boys

The film follows the daily lives and interactions of members of the Lambeth Youth club in late-1950s London, showcasing their community, friendships, and social activities such as dancing, chatting, and participating in cricket matches. The documentary is shot in a naturalistic style, allowing the protagonists to act as if they are not being recorded. It features the young people's lives outside the youth club, including work at postal sorting offices and factories, time spent together on the Kennington Lane estate, and visits to Tony's fish bar.
