After Matt's dreams of a picturesque Italian wedding are shattered when his fiancée leaves him at the altar, he embarks on his planned honeymoon across Italy alone, immersing himself in the country's vibrant culture, food, and beauty, meeting Gia along the way. Kevin James stars as Matt Taylor, a schoolteacher who encounters new friends, including Kim Coates as Julian and Jonathan Roumie as Neil, while also forming a connection with cafe owner Nicole Grimaudo (Gia). After confessing his true reason for being in Italy to Gia, Matt consoles himself by meeting Ed Sheeran, then unexpectedly runs into ex-fiancée Heather. In the end, Matt decides to move on and invites Gia to join him at an Ed Sheeran concert.
