Wild 90

"Wild 90" is a 1968 experimental comedy-drama film directed by Norman Mailer, who also stars as "The Prince". The film follows three friends - Mailer's fictional gangster alter ego "Prince", Buzz Cameo (Buzz Farbar), and Twenty Years (Mickey Knox) - holed up in a New York apartment drinking, braying, and fighting. With the help of cinematographer D. A. Pennebaker, Mailer improvised the entire film, which was later edited down to 90 minutes from 150 minutes of footage.
