19-year-old Tommy is a foul-mouthed, drug-abusing delinquent who becomes the captive of Chris, a reclusive husband who forces him to watch educational films and old videos of his own antics, claiming he's trying to help Tommy become a better person. As time passes, Tommy calms down and builds a rapport with everyone in the household, including Jonathan, the family's 10-year-old son. However, when Rina, a cleaning job applicant, confides in Chris that she's being followed, the family's plan for her safety takes an unexpected turn. With his temper finally tamed, Tommy demands to be freed and gets his chance when Chris reveals his true intentions.
