Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie

In 2008, Toronto musicians Matt Johnson and Jay McCarrol form Nirvanna the Band in hopes of playing a show at the Rivoli. Seventeen years later, they have still not secured a show, with their schemes repeatedly failing. A publicity stunt fails when the SkyDome roof closes during their dive, deepening Jay's frustrations with Matt's schemes. They attempt to persuade the Rivoli by pretending to be time travelers, but accidentally send themselves back in time to 2008 after a series of mishaps, including one involving fake time travel equipment inspired by Back to the Future and spilled Orbitz.
