Flathead

Flathead tells the story of Cass Cumerford (Cass), an elderly man returning home to Bundaberg, as he deals with grief among a group of working-class people, including Andrew Wong and Hayden Rimmington. The film, directed by Jaydon Martin, explores themes of spirituality and redemption in a small Australian town. Shot on location in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia, the movie premiered at the 53rd International Film Festival Rotterdam, where it won a Special Jury Award in the Tiger Competition.
